Our school integration program is designed for students and teachers who wish to visit Australian schools to establish international connections and friendships, widen their global vision, and have educational and academic experiences. The program builds a real-life connection between international visitors and local students, strengthening their international understanding and embracing cultural diversities which are crucial in our contemporary global world.
Study Tours Gold Coast is accredited by both the Queensland and New South Wales Government Education Departments to organise government school programs. We have been successfully organising school tour experiences with private schools and colleges along the east coast of Australia and have long-standing connections with a number of educational institutions. We understand that each tour group is unique, and our school programs are always customised to each group. We offer flexible tour durations, from a half-day school visit to our most popular 1 – 2 weeks school immersion program, or even up to 12 weeks of intensive academic study.

Visiting students join buddies in regular school classes and share hands-on activities with local students. As ambassadors of their country, visiting students can share their culture and learn about Australian society. The integration program may be different for each host school and special requests could be discussed with Study Tours Gold Coast prior to the finalisation of the program.
Visiting students will be paired up with Australian students during their school visit. The buddy system allows students to interact with each other on a personal level and form a foreign friendship. The Australian student buddy assists the international visitor to quickly settle into new school environment and enhance their English-speaking abilities.
Welcome and farewell functions are mandatory inclusions in our program. During the welcome function, visiting students will be officially welcomed by the host school principal, teachers and be introduced to their school buddies. Generally, a school tour and orientation will also be given on the first school day. A farewell ceremony will be held on the last day by the host school, normally a catered lunch or afternoon tea will be provided. Visiting students will be farewelled by their new school friends and given a certificate of participation and souvenirs.
Each visiting group will be provided with a bilingual school coordinator to ensure the quality of the program. The school coordinator will accompany the group throughout the duration of their school visit. The school coordinator assists with the communication between the group and the host school, to guide the students and to lead the after-school activities.
